Wigan Athletic (officially: Wigan Athletic Football Club) - also known as The Latics - is a professional football club based in Wigan, England. The club rose in 2003 - for the first time in its history - to the second highest English league, the Football League Championship. Only two years later in 2005, Wigan succeeded as a runner-up promotion to the Premier League.

Manchester City (officially: Manchester City Football Club) - also known as The Citizens and the Blues - is a professional football club based in Manchester, England. After the founding in 1880 as West Gorton St Marks the club played from 1887 under the name of Ardwick AFC and then moved to the Hyde Road, before 1894, the final name of Manchester City FC arose. The club twice won the English championship, four times the FA Cup, League Cup twice and once in the European Cup Winners' Cup. They currently play in the Premier League and have spent most of their history in the top league. The official mascot of the association are the aliens "Moon Chester" and "Moonbeam".


The game will kick off at 5 pm and surely there will also be a live video stream on the internet. Of course you can watch the game on TV via Sky if you have access, otherwise there is a good chance of searching for a live stream.
